Reading Session in [Here they are, memories we don’t know]

We will hold a reading session in which participants will bring books they associate with the current exhibition “Here they are, memories we don’t know” and listen to each other’s introductions to deepen their understanding of the exhibition and encounter new discoveries.
Participants will be asked to view the exhibition prior to the day of the reading session and, based on their impressions and associations from the exhibition, select a book to be introduced from among the books they have brought with them.

What we want to emphasize in this reading session is “listening” and “expanding your image”.

Let’s create a place where everyone can feel the interest and depth of images spreading from contemporary art through the books recommended by various people.

Time : 18:30PM – 20:30PM
Fee : 1,500 JPY (with Shirahama sweets and tea)
Number of participants : about 6

(2) Please visit the exhibition “Here they are, memories we don’t know” in advance.
*Please make sure you have enough time in your schedule to select your book(s).
(3) Select books based on your impressions and associations from the exhibition.
*Any kind of book is acceptable. Books, magazines, manga, etc. are all acceptable!
*One or two books are acceptable. Please limit your introduction to 5 minutes.
(4) Please bring the book you have chosen with you on the day of the event.
