This is an archive photo of A Journey of Citrus Sapling Event 2024 (transfer meeting) held in March 2024.

As part of “Commons Farm”‘ a long-term art project by Satoshi Hirose, an artist based in Italy, we held a tangerine seedling transfer event this year as well.

This seedling transfer event, named Journey of Mikan Seedlings,'' will entrust foster parents with tangerine saplings to grow until a candidate site for acommons farm” (abandoned farmland or idle farmland) is found. I’ll have it. Once we have found a garden site, we will plant the saplings.

We hope to create a “park-like farm” where everyone can freely come and go.
