Kinan Art Week will hold the exhibition Kinan Art Week 2024 “Igoku Tamaru: lives without boundaries” from 20 September on the theme of slime mold. In connection with the exhibition, Kinokumaza, which organises documentary film screenings in the Kinan area, will collaborate with the Kinan Art Week and organise a film screening ‘The Garden in Motion’ directed by Sawasaki Keinichi.

The words and attitude of Gilles Clément, a gardener, botanist, entomologist and writer, show respect for all living things and remind us of important things that we humans usually forget. A film that should be seen now, almost 10 years after it was first shown on screen. Wakayama premiere.

‘A garden in motion’. Le jardin en mouvement

The ‘garden in motion’, as proposed by Gilles Clément, one of France’s leading gardeners.

This ethnographic documentary captures what Clément and his garden have to say along the lines of ‘as much as possible together, as little as possible against’, which is the keynote of the garden.
