The archived video of “Press briefing” held on October 8  has been uploaded.

As a result of curating to show the works of contemporary artists who are active in the world to the Kinan area, various works have been decided to be exhibited.

Apichatpong Weerasethakul (Thailand), winner of the Palme d’Or, the highest award at the festival

Ho Tzu Nyen (Singapore), where a large-scale solo exhibition is scheduled for this fall at the Toyota Municipal Museum of Art

Ade Darmawan (Indonesia), the representative of Rwanrupa, who is the artistic director of Documenta 15 in Germany in 2010.

Toshi Ichiyanagi, one of Japan’s leading contemporary musicians

From top artists in the Asian region, who are attracting worldwide attention, to up-and-coming young artists, and even artists who are closely related to the local Wakayama, we have a full lineup of artists, explanations about the exhibition venue, and an overview of the event.

It is a content that you can grasp the whole picture of Kinan Art Week, which was difficult to explain throughout.
