A painting experience in which participants will sketch natural objects such as mandarin oranges fruits and roots and include (sometimes fictitious) explanatory text and annotations, using the detailed specimen drawings left by Kumagusu Minakata as a model. By using paper that has been wetted and seared with citrus juice, the artist creates a unique world that seems to transcend the passage of time.
